Position: Software Engineer - SME

InterImage is actively seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a remarkable opportunity for a qualified candidate to contribute to the development of applications that serve as certified, trusted sources of critical mission data. If you are passionate about working in a collaborative environment, solving complex problems, and contributing to cutting-edge technology solutions, then this role is perfect for you!
Job Description:
- Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features
- Serve as mentor to less experienced software engineers
- Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
- DevOps experience, to include version control, automated builds, automated testing, and continuous integration with tools such as Gitlab
- Self-starter with strong innovative and analytical ability
- Proficient in Python, Java or Go
- Experience in web development using progressive JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for full software development life cycle; coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD tools and benefits
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Well practiced in Agile development
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS Business Information Technology, BA/BS Computer Science, BA/BS Computer Engineering
- 6 years of relevant technical experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
- Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
