    Senior Structural/Bridge Engineer - Columbus, Ohio Job #26-00051
    Salary Range - $100K to $150K per year + Bonuses and Relocation Expenses Assistance
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical support and leadership for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and/or construction of transportation infrastructure projects in the public and private sector.
    • Perform research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures or structural elements including bridges, roadways, and retaining walls.
    • Provide guidance to junior engineers
    • Assist in the management, growth, and development of the company's bridge design and inspection team.
    • Represent projects and the firm at meetings and conferences.
    • Make recommendations on project staffing.
    • Assist with technical concepts in proposal development, preliminary design phases, and presentations to client.
    • Provide innovative solutions related to the design of bridges, transit structures, and other significant structures required for state highways, county roads, and city streets.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, and sub-consultants.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline (Master's Degree is a plus).
    • 10+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
    • Professional Engineer license required in the State of Ohio (multi-state a plus).
    • Highly proficient with extensive experience in bridge and infrastructure planning, design, and program/construction management; including project involvement in a variety of rehabilitation and reconstruction, new design, and construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant structural and civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
    • Experience with planning and conducting inspections and investigations on various aspects of the construction and design of structures, bridges, applying applicable regulations and policies.
    • Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and plans with a high degree of complexity.
    • Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment.
    • Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
