Job description

The Superintendent - Security Systems oversees the installation, maintenance, and operation of security infrastructure across facilities. This role ensures that security systems are functioning optimally and meet organizational safety standards, while coordinating with teams and vendors to support security objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the installation and maintenance of security systems including alarms, cameras, and access controls
  • Supervise security system technicians and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize system performance
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of security equipment
  • Coordinate with facility management and security teams to address system issues and upgrades
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, repairs, and updates
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational security policies
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on security system usage and protocols
