About The Role

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for walk-in clients and a key support to our internal teams across various business lines. This role requires strong multitasking skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage high call volumes and in-person inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

What You'll Do

  • Handle 40-60 inbound phone calls per day, ensuring prompt and professional client service.
  • Greet and assist 15-25 walk-in clients and broker visitors daily for payments and inquiries.
  • Process manual payments for our SME Program clients accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage courier dispatch and receipt for Windsor and Leamington offices across multiple departments (Personal Insurance, Commercial, Programs, Employee Benefits & Retirement, etc.).
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the Leamington office across all business lines.
  • Coordinate and maintain office supplies inventory for both Windsor and Leamington offices, placing timely orders as needed.
  • Assist with special projects, including:
    • EPIC reassignment of books of business.
    • Scanning and mass mailing initiatives for Personal Insurance.
  • Act as an Office Services Resource, handling general administrative requests from all divisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with EPIC or other insurance management systems is an asset.

The expected salary range for this position is$35,000to $43,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience andworking location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
