- Data, Formula & Table Maintenance - Develop and maintain the tables, databases and formulas applying to insurance rates, rules and formulas within the company's rating systems.
- Perform unit testing.
- Analyze, research and resolve policy rating issues.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and peers in a team environment.
- Develop business knowledge and strategic working relationships with the Information Technology group and business customers.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or relatable work experience.
- Field of Study: Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Prefer candidates with a Property & Casualty Insurance background.
- Strong algebraic and analytical skills.
- Basic experience using, updating and maintaining algorithms and tables, within rating software. Duck Creek Example Author experience a plus.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Doors software helpful, but not required.
- Should be able to work independently and within a team setting.
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change, and meet deadlines.
