To thrive as a Dental Assistant Medical Assistant, you need knowledge of dental and medical procedures, understanding of infection control, and completion of an accredited dental assisting or medical assisting program, often with relevant certification. Familiarity with patient management software, digital imaging systems, and electronic health records (EHRs) is important.
