Job description

GD Resources LLC is seeking three experienced Anesthesiology Physicians to provide full-time, onsite services supporting eligible patients at the Salem VA Health Care System. Physicians will deliver comprehensive anesthesiology care consistent with VA requirements, facility policies, and nationally recognized standards of care.
Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite anesthesiology physician services.
  • Evaluate patients and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
  • Deliver perioperative anesthesia care within approved clinical privileges.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate medical records.
  • Follow VA policies, clinical procedures, and patient-safety requirements.
  • Participate in required staff meetings, quality reviews, and clinical activities.
  • Complete required VA privacy, cybersecurity, and credentialing training.
  • Maintain professional conduct and effective communication with patients and clinical staff.
  • Remain available during assigned facility clinic and operating-room hours.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • Relevant clinical experience in anesthesiology.
  • Ability to obtain VA credentialing, clinical privileges, background approval, and facility access.
  • No exclusion from participation in federal healthcare programs.
Additional Requirements
  • Provide a current CV or resume.
  • Supply documentation of licensure, board status, BLS and ACLS certifications, and National Provider Identifier.
  • Meet applicable VA health, immunization, screening, and training requirements.
  • Maintain required professional liability coverage, as applicable.
  • Work onsite in Salem, Virginia; this is not a remote position.
