Job description

Assistant District Manager

17.00 Hour ---This role works 3rd shift hours, weekends are mandatory

We are seeking a Part-Time Assistant District Manager for our Newspaper Distribution Center in Naples, Florida. We put a premium on personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and winning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares nightly paperwork and organizes the distribution center before product and carriers arrive
  • Helps offload and load pallets from tractor trailers and box trucks using electronic pallet jacks
  • Distributes newspapers within the distribution center
  • Assists the manager in handling paperwork and updating
    address database information including route sequencing and navigation
  • Assist in keeping workplace, inside and outside clean
  • Performs other job duties as needed


Preferred Requirements:

  • Newspaper Industry Knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
    environment
  • Must work well with others and be team oriented in nature
