• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient needs, utilizing clinical assessment tools to establish a roadmap for treatment.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique mental and emotional obstacles faced by trauma patients.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and utilize coping strategies to help individuals navigate their healing journey.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, monitoring their progress closely and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families on coping mechanisms related to stress and trauma.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social service organizations and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in professional development through continuing education and maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have suffered trauma-induced psychological effects, which can result from various circumstances such as accidents, personal loss, or emotional neglect. You will play a vital role in empowering these patients by providing them with the necessary tools and support to facilitate meaningful recovery.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• At least three years of professional experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with familiarity in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster rapport with patients and facilitate group therapy sessions.

• Experience using Salesforce for client management.
• Background in developing community outreach programs to enhance mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling best practices.
