Our talented employee-owners provide agile, scalable services and solutions that solve operational gaps, operate critical systems, and protect and secure the enterprise - across the organization and around the world We are seeking a mission-focused and technically capable Mid-Level Network Administrator to support a Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity program.

In this role, you'll assist with managing and securing network infrastructure in a classified, high-assurance environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with network hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced team. Job Description: * Perform daily administration and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls * Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve connectivity issues promptly * Support implementation of network security configurations and policies in alignment with DoD cybersecurity frameworks * Conduct regular vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts using tools such as ACAS * Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and contribute to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance * Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configuration baselines, and asset inventories * Assist in incident response activities by collecting and analyzing network data * Work closely with senior network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and systems teams on RMF-aligned initiatives * Participate in formal change management processes for planned network updates and implementations Minimum Requirements: * Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance * DoD 8470/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) * 3+ years of experience in network administration in a DoD or large-scale IT environment * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting of Juniper and Cisco routing, and switching * Hands-on experience with: Juniper and Cisco networking equipment, Routing protocols: BGP and OSPF, Switching, VLAN configuration, VMware networking components, firewall administration and rule management * Familiarity with RMF processes, STIGs, and system hardening practices * Proficiency with common troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark, etc.) * Strong attention to detail, documentation habits, and communication skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a mission-oriented technical team At Foxhole Technology, we are committed to pay transparency in accordance with applicable laws for both applicants and our employee-owners.
