Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintain, support, and optimize network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, high-performance connectivity across all locations
  • Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot outages, latency, and connectivity issues
  • Administer network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and compliance with internal/external standards
  • Manage LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networks; apply updates, patches, and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with Sr. Network Administrator and cross-functional IT teams; support documentation, disaster recovery, and telephony systems
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external audit standards
  • Participate in telephony troubleshooting and upgrades
  • Additional duties may be assigned to help expand your skills and contribute to evolving business needs

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years of network administration experience (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst)
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SD Wan, routing, and switching
  • Experience with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools (SolarWinds)
  • Cisco Telephony experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and adaptability skills in fast-paced environments with changing business needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to learn continuously, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment with integrity and customer-focused mindset
