Foley & Lardner is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented E-Discovery Project Manager to join our litigation support team. This individual will play a critical role in managing all phases of the electronic discovery lifecycle across complex, high stakes matters. The ideal candidate brings deep experience working within large law firm (BigLaw) environments, a strong command of Relativity and its advanced analytics tools, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with attorneys, clients, and vendors. In this role you will demonstrate practical knowledge in configuring, deploying, and evaluating AI-assisted tools within the Relativity ecosystem. Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-party litigation matters involving large data volumes is essential. This position will support both local and national litigation teams.

Responsibilities
    Oversee the full scope of e-discovery workflows, from preservation and collection through processing, review, and production. This includes developing and executing project plans, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with applicable legal standards, court rules, and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with litigation teams to design and implement Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and other AIdriven review workflows.
  • Leverage Relativity aiR for Review to enhance document review efficiency by integrating AI-powered review capabilities into existing workflows, evaluating the suitability of aiR for Review on a matter-by-matter basis, configuring and monitoring its deployment, and providing reporting on its performance and impact.
  • Advise attorneys on best practices for defensible deployment of AI tools, assist in drafting related protocols for submission to courts, maintain a firm grasp of relevant validation statistics, and oversee quality control and validation of AI-assisted review results.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all e-discovery-related communications, opposing counsel, and clients. This includes advising at meet-and-confer discussions on ESI issues, and ensuring compliance with ESI protocols and protective orders.
  • Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining project documentation, preparing status reports and metrics for stakeholders, conducting quality assurance checks on all data deliverables, and mentoring junior team members on e-discovery best practices and technology platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; a Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certificate, or advanced degree in a related field is preferred. #LI-
  • Minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsibility in e-discovery project management, including direct law firm experience, required.
  • A current Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is strongly preferred. Must be willing to obtain certification within a year of employment with the support of the Firm.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing Technology Assisted Review (TAR) workflows is essential.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. We are accepting ongoing applications.

-Salt Lake City - $116,900 to $175,400

-Denver and San Diego - $128,600 to $192,900

-Los Angeles - $134,400 to $201,700
