Position Summary

Crescent Constructors is seeking a Bulldozer Operator to safely and efficiently operate bulldozers and related heavy equipment in support of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure projects. The Bulldozer Operator is responsible for performing earthmoving, grading, excavation support, and site preparation activities while maintaining production goals, safety standards, and equipment performance. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.


What You'll Do

Operate bulldozers and related heavy equipment to perform grading, site preparation, earthmoving, and excavation support activities.

Rough and finish grade project sites according to plans, specifications, and grade stakes.

Construct and maintain access roads, embankments, slopes, and work platforms as required for project operations.

Assist with trenching, backfill, and site development activities supporting water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Perform daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.

Identify and report equipment maintenance needs, deficiencies, and safety concerns.

Follow grade stakes, survey markings, and directions from supervisors to achieve required elevations and project specifications.

Work closely with survey crews, utility crews, and other equipment operators to maintain efficient project operations.

Ensure safe operation of equipment and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience operating bulldozers on heavy civil, utility, water/wastewater, or site development construction projects required.

Experience reading grade stakes, construction plans, and site layouts preferred.

Knowledge of excavation, grading, trenching, backfill operations, and site development activities required.

Experience working around underground utilities and active construction operations preferred.

Ability to safely operate equipment in varying terrain and weather conditions required.

Strong understanding of equipment safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.

Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused team player.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.

Physical ability to climb onto equipment, perform inspections, and work around active construction sites.

Experience with GPS machine control systems preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Must be licensed and approved to operate a company vehicle when required.

Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and work safely around heavy equipment and construction activities.
