Job Summary:
FEDITC, LLC is a fast-growing business supporting DoD and other intelligence agencies worldwide. They are seeking a Platform Engineer/Architect, SME to provide senior-level platform engineering support and lead technology planning for national security systems. The role involves engineering solutions for cloud migration, evaluating infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with next-generation architecture protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Provide senior-level platform engineering support for DFAS CCE NIPRNet unclassified enclave
• Process CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets achieving 95% worked-by-priority compliance
• Support CCE Change Control Board (CCB) with 95% on-time inputs
• Lead technology planning and develop ITI 5-Year Roadmap & Architecture (due 60 days after award, then annually)
• Engineer solutions for CCE movement to DoD certified cloud solutions and hybrid environments
• Evaluate CCE infrastructure for cost reduction, service improvement, and capability enhancement
• Reengineer CCE infrastructure to meet next generation architecture protocols and Zero Trust Network Architecture
• Conduct tuning activities achieving 90% on-schedule compliance
• Support IPv6 processing achieving 100% validation compliance
Qualifications:
Required:
• An active Secret security clearance and a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
• 10+ years enterprise systems architecture experience
• Expert-level Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification)
• Expert-level security architecture (CISSP certification)
• Experience with NIPRNet unclassified network environments
• Proficiency in: SQL, SCOM, MECM, Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), Directory Services
• Experience with Azure cloud migration and hybrid environments
• Knowledge of IPv6 implementation and transition
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and architecture documentation
• Demonstrated Zero Trust Network Architecture implementation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802
• CISSP or equivalent
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
