Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to support the modernization and management of records systems for the National Archives and Records Administration. The developer will design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions that support records management, document workflows, and secure information governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop custom solutions on Microsoft SharePoint (SharePoint Online / On-Premise).
• Build and maintain document libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts.
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Implement records management, retention policies, and compliance features aligned with archival standards.
• Develop using SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and .NET.
• Collaborate with records administrators and stakeholders to improve document management processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize SharePoint performance and security.
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with SharePoint development.
• Experience with SPFx, Power Platform, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of records management, document lifecycle, and compliance practices.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting government or archival systems.
• Familiarity with information governance and digital records preservation.
