Infrastructure & Platform Services builds and runs the technology foundation for EA's games. Our teams deliver the live services and backend infrastructure that are used to ship, scale, and operate secure, reliable game experiences for millions of players worldwide.
As a Software Engineer on EA's Identity team, you will help us build the infrastructure and platform services that support EA's live-service ecosystem. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager on the Identity team. You will write reliable code, contribute to service design, and work with engineers across our organization to deliver systems that are scalable, secure, and easy to operate.
Responsibilities:
  • You will build, test, and maintain services for EA's Identity ecosystem.
  • You will debug service issues and improve reliability.
  • You will work with senior engineers on platform improvements.
  • You will partner with product managers, technical leads, and engineers to create solutions.
  • You will document your work and support operational readiness.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, and debugging
  • Proficiency in Java or Python
  • Experience building backend services or APIs with relational or NoSQL databases in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation and AI practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab.

Pay Transparency - North America
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$120,600 - $184,000 USD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
