Job description
Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking an Application Management Engineer to work in Sierra Vista, AZ. As a leading provider of managed cybersecurity services, ECS provides a highly tailored and customized offering to each customer. Our team is responsible for protecting both our customers and corporate environment at ECS. We will look toward your unique skills to approach and solve problems in your own way. Whether engineering a system to address a technical hurdle, protecting customers data or consulting on a wide range of security topics. You are empowered to engage and lead across multiple groups. We will look for unique skills to approach and solve problems. You will have the opportunity to work and grow your expertise with a team of software engineering and cyber security experts working to tackle the cyber defense issues of the modern military with creative and innovative solutions. As an Application Management Engineer , you will support ECS's Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) program. This is a technical hands-on role which oversees the administration, support, security, and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure platforms that enable identity management, privileged access, network services, automation, monitoring, DevSecOps, and cyber threat intelligence. Required Skills * Top Secret Clearance * 8570 Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+) * Deploy, integrate, upgrade, and maintain commercial and government off-the-shelf applications in support of program requirements. * Support cross-functional teams with assessing, troubleshooting, and resolving stability and performance issues with third party applications. * Create and/or maintain documentation for required application processes. * Ability to conduct DISA STIG reviews, assess findings, and recommend/implement appropriate corrective measures to ensure compliance with STIG requirements. * Implement, tune, operate, and maintain diagnostics and performance monitoring tools to detect, prevent, and/or resolve anomalous server behavior. * Collaborate with multi-function teams to maintain an effective and compliant security posture for required tool-sets. * Support special projects as assigned by assisting with requirements gathering, analysis and through direct engineering support to deploy, configure, and implement required systems and services. * Utilize CRM tools to request and track change requests to the servers and infrastructure. * Collaborative work culture / environments. Desired Skills * Experience with or familiarity with these tools in the current environment: PingFederate, ThreatQ, GitLab, Semaphore, IP Manager (IPAM), HP OneView, CyberArk, Cacti, Nginx * Strong operating systems knowledge (Linux, Windows) * Strong Active Directory knowledge * Comfortable working independently
