As one of the nation's leading technology solutions providers, we are seeking passionate, driven Outside Sales Executives (SLED) in Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, and Texas.

    You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle—identifying and qualifying opportunities, meeting with prospective clients, and driving growth in your territory. You will work with top-tier OEMs, including Cisco, HPE, NetApp, Crestron, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, VMware, Dell, Palo Alto, and others, providing cutting-edge solutions that truly make a difference.

    Responsibilities

    • Sell IT infrastructure solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations.
    • Drive new business and grow existing accounts within your territory.
    • Deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
    • Build strong client relationships through regular visits and product expertise.
    • Target Federal E-rate and SLED opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with engineers on pre-sales for Security, Networking, Wireless, Collaboration, and Data Center solutions.
    • Use a strategic, solution-focused approach to showcase DSI Tech's value and close deals.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Manage your workflow proactively and resolve challenges efficiently.

    Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge

    • 3 years in an outside sales capacity selling IT solutions for Cisco products or other vendors (NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Crestron)
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or related field OR an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and directly related progressive job experience
    • Proven experience in SLED (State and Local Government and Education)
    • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking abilities
    • Results-driven and detail-oriented
    • Established credibility in interactions with customers and team members
