Job description

Diversified Services is seeking a Cost Accountant who will be responsible for auditing and analyzing ongoing projects with county or state agencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage multiple projects

2. Participate in State agencies meeting and internal staff meetings

3. Examine and participate audits on current States' programs

4. Run quarterly claim reports for state agencies

5. Develop a strong understanding of State agencies' practice and system

6. Work with Business consultant and IT development team

7. Create meeting notes

8. Create project schedules and maintain project schedule

Requirements

1. 1 to 2 years of experience

2. Experience with large scale audits

3. Experience with accounting systems

4. Experience with financial system

5. Strong note taker and ability to learn and grow into the role

6. Strong written and oral communication skills

7. Strong understanding of basic accounting Principals

8. Preference to be fluent in a foreign language.

Education:

  • Bachelor's in finance or Accounting, Mathematics or Public Policy

Preferred Education:

  • Master's in accounting, Finance or Public Policy
  • CPA or any other accounting certification
