    Hospice Director of Clinical Services (DCS/DON)

    Alpha Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice Director of Clinical Services (DCS/DON) to lead our growing hospice program based in Everett, WA.

    Position Details

    • Location: Everett, WA (Hybrid)

    • Schedule: Full-Time

    • Salary: $130,000-$150,000 DOE

    • Industry: Hospice & Palliative Care

    What You'll Do

    • Provide leadership and oversight for hospice clinical operations.

    • Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and regulatory requirements.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop clinical managers and staff.

    • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention efforts.

    • Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.

    • Partner with agency leadership on budgeting, staffing, and strategic growth.

    • Support exceptional patient and family care through interdisciplinary collaboration.

    QualificationsRequired

    • Active Washington RN license (or ability to obtain).

    • BSN required.

    • Current BLS certification.

    • 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience.

    • 2+ years of hospice leadership or management experience.

    • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Preferred

    • MSN.

    • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience.

    • Hospice certification.
