Job description

Daybreaker is a Brooklyn-based social enterprise and morning dance and wellness move-ment in 31 cities around the world with a community of 500K+ and growing. Our bread and butter are weekday morning events that start with a one hour yoga + fitness experience followed by a 2-hour dance party all before going to work. We are a substance-free community and are reimagining how humans socialize (in the morning / without alcohol or drugs). We are experience designers and community builders with a results-oriented management team that is set on building a lasting movement that solves a major societal problem: loneliness and isolation. Ultimately, our goal is to invite more play, more community, and more belonging.

Need to experience it for yourself? See our latest Community Reel. This one too.

THE ROLE //

As a member of the Daybreaker team, you will be welcomed into our global family of epic humans, dedicated to spreading love and mischief around the world. At Daybreaker, we don't sell a product, we sell a feeling. :)

This is a paid full-time role. You'll report directly to the Daybreaker leaders, working closely with a savvy, tight-knit, creative, and energetic team at our office in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NYC.

This is a role where you'll be wearing many hats and no two days are the same. You have to be hungry and driven and excited to be a part of a fast paced, hard working early morning startup!

This is a rare opportunity to work at the center of one of the most creative and mission-driven brands in the world. As Partnership Manager and Executive Assistant to Co-Founder Eli Clark-Davis, you will serve as the operational backbone and relationship hub for Eli's work as Chief Partnerships Officer, the architect behind Daybreaker's most iconic brand deals and productions.

This dual-function role blends high-level partnership management (owning sponsor relationships, decks, and deliverables) with executive support (keeping Eli's world organized, on-time, and running smoothly). You will be in the room where things happen, coordinating with global brand partners, producers, and the Daybreaker community team while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love people, and want to grow inside a culture-defining company, this is your role.

  • Partnerships and Account Management
    • Own the day-to-day management of Daybreaker's brand partnership accounts from contract execution through post-event wrap reports
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners, maintaining strong relationships with teams at major consumer and wellness brands
    • Build and maintain partnership decks, proposals, and one-pagers tailored to prospective sponsors aligned with Daybreaker's values
    • Track deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations for all active partnerships, proactively flagging risks or opportunities
    • Coordinate cross-functionally with the production, content, and community teams to ensure brand integrations are executed flawlessly on-site
    • Research prospective partners in wellness, lifestyle, and culture; prepare outreach briefs and warm introductions for Eli
  • Executive Support
    • Manage Eli's calendar, scheduling, and meeting prep, including briefing notes, agendas, and follow-up action items
    • Draft and manage email correspondence on Eli's behalf with professionalism and brand voice
    • Organize and maintain internal files, partnership documentation, and contact databases
    • Coordinate travel logistics, speaking engagements, and event appearances
    • Manage light personal assistant tasks and special projects as needed
    • Act as a trusted thought partner and strategic sounding board, someone Eli can rely on to anticipate needs and move quickly

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in account management, brand partnerships, executive assistance, or a combination thereof
  • Must be personable and comfortable with people and phone calls / Zoom
  • Must be organized, meticulously detailed, and interested in punctuation and grammar
  • Exceptionally organized with a strong bias for action
  • A natural relationship-builder who is warm, personable, and professional with external partners
  • Impeccable written communication skills; you can write a sharp outreach email and a polished deck
  • Comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and small operational details, often in the same hour
  • Deeply aligned with Daybreaker's mission: community, wellness, joy, and sober living
  • Experienced with tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms
  • Able to attend Daybreaker events in NYC (some early mornings required, yes, we mean 6 AM)
  • Bonus points if you have experience in event production, experiential marketing, or the wellness/lifestyle industry, an existing network in brand marketing or consumer goods, or you have been to a Daybreaker and already know you are the kind of person who dances before 9 AM.

Benefits
