This role is responsible for defining project scope, managing Agile delivery processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Agile project leader with exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position operates within the client's Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment and serves as a key contributor to Agile Release Train (ART) execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects supporting mission-critical initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate SAFe Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Track and manage epics, features, user stories, tasks, defects, and issues using Jira.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, risks, issues, and escalations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive Agile process improvements and promote continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of program initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain business processes, workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and project documentation.
  • Create dashboards, reports, executive briefings, and performance metrics to provide visibility into project health and progress.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and present project updates to leadership and customer representatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, operational efficiency, and team performance.
  • Perform additional technical and administrative duties as needed to support program objectives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Operate within the client's Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), adopting SAFe principles, terminology, and Agile Release Train (ART) practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of SAFe Agile methodology in IT project management.
  • Experience leading Agile software development or enterprise IT projects.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
  • Experience using Jira to manage project backlogs, user stories, sprint activities, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting federal law enforcement or other federal government agencies.
  • Experience working within enterprise SAFe Agile environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting large-scale IT modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

What You'll Bring
  • A collaborative leadership style that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with technical teams, executives, and customer stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
  • The ability to balance strategic objectives with day-to-day project execution in a mission-focused environment.

Why Join Data Intelligence?
At Data Intelligence, you'll support mission-critical programs that help federal law enforcement agencies accomplish their most important objectives. Our employees work alongside experienced professionals delivering innovative technology solutions in a collaborative environment that values integrity, excellence, innovation, and continuous professional growth.
