    • Location: Hybrid out of the following offices: Wheeling, WV, Chicago, Miami, New York, Boston, Charlotte, Washington DC, San Francisco, Menlo Park, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Irvine, Sacramento, Houston, Austin, Portland, Seattle
    • Pay: $30-$45/hr

    Overview

    The IT Business Analyst will work closely with the IT PMO Manager, business stakeholders, and technology teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements. This is a great opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst with a strong foundation in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder communication who is looking to continue developing their skills in a professional services environment.

    Responsibilities
    • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements.

    • Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements documents, and process documentation.

    • Meet with stakeholders to understand current processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.

    • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve and streamline business processes.

    • Create process flows, diagrams, and other documentation to support project requirements.

    • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.

    • Support project scoping by documenting objectives, requirements, dependencies, and success criteria.

    • Assist with wireframes and mockups to help visualize proposed solutions.

    • Create and execute test plans, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.

    • Document testing results and communicate issues to appropriate project team members.

    • Support users and stakeholders during the implementation of new systems, features, and processes.

    • Participate in cross-functional project meetings and provide project updates as needed.

    • Assist with project documentation, timelines, and tracking deliverables.

    • Maintain organized and accurate project and requirements documentation.

    • Develop a working knowledge of the firm's business systems and how they support different teams.

    • Stay current on technology and process improvements that can help modernize and automate business operations.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    • 1–2 years of solid Business Analyst experience, preferably supporting IT or technology-related projects.

    • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

    • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

    • Experience creating user stories, process flows, requirements documentation, and test cases.

    • Exposure to UAT and functional testing.

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or other process-mapping tools.

    • Basic understanding of databases, system integrations, and application workflows.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong organization and attention to detail.

    • Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.

    • Experience in a professional services or client-service environment is a plus, but not required.
