    Business Relationship Manager

    Location: New York, NY | San Francisco, CA | Wheeling, WV

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to serve as the primary liaison between Information Technology and business stakeholders across the firm. This individual will build trusted relationships with attorneys and business leaders, ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives while effectively communicating IT priorities, project updates, and strategic direction.

    The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills who can translate business needs into technology solutions, advocate for stakeholders, and partner closely with IT delivery teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives. This role is highly collaborative and customer-focused, requiring the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and assigned business stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships across the firm.

    • Partner with attorneys and business leaders to understand business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.

    • Act as the voice and advocate for IT, ensuring stakeholders understand technology initiatives, priorities, project status, and strategic direction.

    • Translate business requirements into actionable technology initiatives by partnering with IT, Product, and Project Delivery teams.

    • Monitor project portfolios, providing regular status updates while ensuring initiatives remain aligned with business priorities and expectations.

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and IT throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for improvement, proactively working with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

    • Gather stakeholder feedback and monitor satisfaction to continuously improve IT services and business engagement.

    • Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and communications that clearly articulate project progress, priorities, and business value.

    • Promote a customer-first approach while fostering strong partnerships between business and technology teams.

    Qualifications:
    • 8+ years of experience in Business Relationship Management, IT Business Partner, Technology Relationship Management, or a similar business-facing IT role.

    • Proven experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders and translating business needs into technology solutions.

    • Strong customer service mindset with exceptional relationship management and communication skills.

    • Experience supporting enterprise IT initiatives, project portfolios, and cross-functional technology programs.

    • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and enterprise technology environments.

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while effectively communicating across technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is highly preferred.
