Associate Manager Clinical Health Services - Work at Home

Location: Dallas and Tarrant Counties, Texas

Travel: Up to 25%

Schedule: Monday - Friday 08:00-05:00 PM CST

Position Summary

This is a work at home/field position with minimal ( up to 25%) travel requirements as need basis for onsite staff meetings or to support staff in the field in the Dallas or Tarrant Counties, Texas.,

The Supervisor is responsible for oversight of healthcare management staff including the organization and development of high performing teams. Works closely with functional area managers to ensure consistency in clinical interventions supporting our members. Accountable for meeting the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the day-to-day management of assignedcare managementteamsforappropriate implementationand adherence with established practices,policiesand procedures.

  • Participatesin the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements in terms of education, experience,technicaland performance skills.

  • Develops, initiates, monitorsand communicatesperformance expectations.

  • Assesses developmental needs and collaborates with others toidentifyand implement action plans that support the development of high performing teams.

  • Supports the management of complex physical and behavioral health casesby being clinically andculturally competentwithappropriatetrainingand experience.

  • Utilizes critical thinking and judgment to collaborate and inform the caremanagementprocessin order tofacilitateappropriate healthcareoutcomes for members.

  • Ensures access to primary care, behavioral health, and coordination of health care services for membersas needed.

  • Provides clinical leadershipandassistscaremanagement staffinsupportingmembers' understanding of service recommendations based on member need.

  • Conducts regularly scheduledindividual and team meetings with a focus onmember service delivery, completion ofadministrative duties,and meeting established productivity standards.

  • Usinga holistic approachconsults with care managers, medical directors, system of care, social supportteamsand/or other market staff to overcome barriers to meeting goals andobjectives.

  • Identifiesand escalates quality of care issues through established channels.

  • Conducts all administrative dutiesin accordance withestablished standards for supportingandmanaging a team.

  • Communicates strategic plan and specific tactics to meet plan needsand ensures implementation oftactics to meet strategic direction for cost and quality outcomes.

  • Identifiesopportunities to implement best practiceapproaches and introduce innovations to better improve outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of Managed Care experience

  • 3 or more years clinical experience.

  • 1 or more years of Management/Leadership experience.

  • RN license or independently licensed clinician in Behavioral Health field in the state of Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the regulations, standards, and policies which relate to medical management.

Education

  • BSN required for RN license

  • Masters degree required for BH license.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$80,340.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
