    Job Title: Elementary Specialist

    Reports To: Bremerton Elementary Principal

    Job Overview:

    Crosspoint Christian School is seeking an Elementary Computer Specialist who is a committed follower of Jesus, called to Christian education, and passionate about equipping young learners with the technology skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellence in integrating faith and learning while fostering curiosity, creativity, and responsible digital citizenship.


    This position provides technology instruction for elementary students, teaching foundational computer skills such as keyboarding, digital citizenship, internet safety, coding, productivity tools, and age-appropriate technology applications. The Elementary Computer Specialist creates engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, and responsible technology use while supporting classroom learning across grade levels.


    As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church's mission: Presenting Hope and Developing People. Possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness, demonstrating a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and maintaining active involvement in a local body of Christian believers are essential qualifications for this position.


    Job Status: Part-time, 9-11 months

    Expected Start Date: August 18, 2025 (2025-2026 School Year)

    Exempt Status: Non-exempt

    Salary Range: $18-$25/hr, 6 hrs/wk

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Provide engaging, high-quality instruction in elementary computer skills, cultivating digital literacy, creativity, problem-solving, and responsible technology use.
    • Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, collaboration, digital citizenship, and confidence in using technology.
    • Support the development of the "whole student" through intentional relationships, encouraging perseverance, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making in both digital and real-world settings.
    • Differentiate technology instruction to meet diverse learning needs and varying levels of experience, ensuring all students develop age-appropriate computer skills.
    • Prepare students for future success by teaching foundational technology skills, keyboarding, coding concepts, digital research, productivity tools, and responsible online communication.
    • Integrate faith meaningfully into instruction by modeling Christ-centered character and helping students understand how technology can be used wisely, ethically, and to glorify God.
