We’re hiring Seasonal Wildlife Service Technicians for our busy May–November season, with the opportunity to earn full-time status based on performance, skill development, and business needs. This is your chance to get your foot in the door, prove yourself, and build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

Critter Control Operations specializes in wildlife management services for residential and commercial properties, providing humane wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair solutions nationwide. We help customers resolve wildlife-related concerns in safe, effective, and environmentally responsible ways while protecting homes, businesses, and communities.

This seasonal role is ideal for individuals with a background in construction, repair, or related trades who are committed to craftsmanship and accountability—and who thrive in a high-demand, high-reward environment during peak wildlife season.

You’ll play a critical role in protecting homes during our busiest time of year by performing exclusion work, repairs, and remediation while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Critter Control is a brand that invests in its people. Seasonal technicians who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and alignment with our values may be offered extended or full-time opportunities beyond the season.

As a Seasonal Wildlife Exclusion/Repair Service Technician, you perform hands-on exclusion, repair, and remediation services for residential and commercial properties. You identify entry points, complete structural repairs, and implement humane wildlife prevention solutions while following safety, technical, and quality guidelines.

What Does a Day in the Life Look Like?

  • Safely remove wildlife using humane trapping and relocation techniques in accordance with company standards and regulations
  • Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and other barriers to prevent wildlife access.
  • Complete minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other structural areas where wildlife may gain entry.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
  • Provide clear, detailed reports and review completed scopes of work with customers.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and address any additional concerns or recommendations.

What Type of Benefits Will You Receive?

  • Estimated Hourly Pay of $18 to $21 per hour
  • Seasonal Position (May–November) with opportunity for full-time employment based on performance
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time employees)
  • 401k with generous match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) (for eligible employees)
  • 6 Paid Holidays Annually!
  • PTO accrual based on tenure (for eligible employees)
  • Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year (federal max!) OR free tuition on approved programs through Purdue Global!
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Supportive team environment with a focus on work-life balance
  • Opportunities for career advancement within the Rollins Family of Brands

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields
  • Ability to work in the field independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using several types of software and applications
  • A strong work ethic and motivation to excel during a fast-paced seasonal period

  • Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories
  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas
