Job Overview

CORE Construction is hiring a Senior Commercial Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of high-value, complex commercial construction projects in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all phases of construction from mobilization to final punch-out. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and project documentationwhile ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met. Youll play a vital role in delivering institutional projects that impact communitiesranging from K12 and higher education to healthcare and civic facilities, often valued well above $10 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on-site activities for large-scale commercial construction projects from mobilization through project closeout.

  • Coach and monitor subcontractors to ensure strict adherence to COREs safety standards and OSHA requirements.

  • Maintain a critical path project schedule, ensuring subcontractors and vendors meet milestone dates.

  • Review project drawings, specifications, ASIs, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and field coordination.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure timely correction of deficiencies and top-tier project outcomes.

  • Facilitate proactive subcontractor coordination, ensuring seamless execution across multiple scopes.

  • Resolve unforeseen field conditions by working directly with the owner, architect, and engineering teams.

  • Produce detailed daily reports and deliver weekly schedule updates to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Uphold jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation at all times.

  • Serve as COREs on-site representative, maintaining client relationships and reinforcing our reputation for excellence.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 10 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proven leadership in delivering institutional and commercial projects of $10M+ in value.

  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.

  • Proficient in reviewing and managing ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.

  • Skilled communicator with the ability to lead diverse field teams and represent CORE to clients and partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.

  • Experience with CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods required.

  • OSHA 30 Certification and a valid Drivers License required.

  • Must be willing to travel within Nevada as needed for project execution.
