Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an AI Engineer for a top Financial Technology (FinTech) client. This role focuses on building and deploying AI agent systems that automate complex financial audit workflows, including autonomous planning, memory, and tool execution. The engineer will own features end to end, working closely with technical leadership in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI agent architectures including planning, memory, tool use, and recovery mechanisms
  • Develop fault-tolerant, end-to-end features integrated into production systems
  • Process and manage large-scale datasets (100GB+), optimizing workloads across processes and threads
  • Debug and resolve production issues involving agent behavior, performance, and edge cases
  • Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to translate audit workflows into automated systems
  • Rapidly prototype and deploy improvements to existing AI agents
  • Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented codebases

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience
