Job Summary

Responsible for increasing the number of active subscribers and product penetration through assigned events in assigned market(s) by primarily, but not limited to, focusing on market expansion, competitive territory and win back of former customers. Sells and promotes core, strategic and mobile company products through the development and execution of promotions and events either independent of or in association with multi-dwelling properties/communities. Event focus can be within privately owned, multi-dwelling properties and communities or can include other social event functions and initiatives in the market. Utilize deep knowledge of the company's products and services as well as sales process experience to maximize sales. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction. Develops competence in own area by performing routine work. 

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Organize, lead and support events, including evening and weekend events, and will travel within an assigned market to conduct events. Overnight travel could be required depending on event type, market size and geography.
  • Serve as the sales point of contact for company in association with assigned events, manage handoffs post-event, and assist with troubleshooting and/or resolving newly acquired customer concerns, enhancing and supporting the customer experience.
  • Generate new subscribers through events that are either initiated or attended by the company. Display thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing and campaigns for video, high-speed internet, and mobile.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals in assigned market and event activities. 
  • Effectively communicate and develop rapport with consumer prospects and property staff when events are associated with multi-dwelling units. Increase consumer prospect and property staff understanding of company products and pricing models as well as competitive advantages over other service providers.
  • Evaluate competitive offers and frames response to show the benefits of the company.
  • Assist in execution of events and provides support, including but not limited to, partnership in the coordination and logistics of an event, planning, negotiation and execution of events, production and distribution of printed materials, point-of purchase displays, prize packages, and coordinating with technical operations within the market.
  • Use experience and skills to tailor events based on the profile of the community in which the event is held, with a goal of maximizing the return on investment.
  • May collaborate with other key personnel to create and execute promotional strategy for value-add services, align messaging and ensure tracking requirements are implemented for the events.
  • Effectively utilize company-provided assets to help promote and sell company products at scheduled events.
  • Has authority and independent management of leads funnel - both receives and develops prospect lead funnels.
  • Determine schedule to follow up on leads received from market and MDU growth opportunities, and initiates leads coming from events or other opportunities aligned with market development activities.
  • Independently build the customer relationship and manages the status of leads for future engagement.
  • Initiate a handoff to Comcast Business for small business prospects who are identified during an event as needed.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
