Overview

CTG is seeking a Technical Business Analyst – Data & Systems to support our client’s business and technology initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong business analysis, data analysis, Agile, and stakeholder management experience who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 11 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Lead stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Technical Design Documents, and Data Lineage documentation.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities, planned releases, and release communications.
  • Track project progress, action items, and JIRA tickets.
  • Support Agile project delivery and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting activities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • 4+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • 2–4+ years of SQL experience, including Oracle and SQL Server; MongoDB experience is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience with data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience writing BRDs, Technical Design Documents, and Data Lineage Documents.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using JIRA for tracking and project coordination.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
