    Position Summary:

    Sign on Bonus $3,000 Bachelor's level/ $4,000 Master's level

    Participate as a team member in the delivery of substance-use disorder services to adult clients and their families. Facilitate the issues of recovery into client’s daily living situations. Provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. This Addiction Counselor position will run a morning Intensive Outpatient Group for Adult clients with a primary Substance Use Disorder.

    Job Requirements:

    • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, preferred
    • Bachelors in related degree or equivalent experience and training, required
    • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC),or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance used disorder services.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
    • Computer proficiency required,
    • Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record,
    • Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
    • Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling,
    • Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources,
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently,
    • Ability to work within a team,
    • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Work hours prescribed by leadership and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
    • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
    • Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within required time frame.
    • Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs.
    • Educate client and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
    • Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
    • Ensure that documentation in client service record is maintained consistent with expectations defined by SUPR, TJC and Medicaid regulations.
    • Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, case management and discharge plans).
    • Assume on-call responsibilities per schedule or when designated.
    • Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
    • Be familiar with court proceedings and available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients.
    • Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
    • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Flexible on shift 4 -10 hour shifts possible!

    Compensation & Rewards Based on education, experience and credentials

    • Starting rate for Bachelors -$53,851 = $25.89/hour
    • Starting rate for Masters - $60,777=$29.22/hour
    • Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, CPS): $1,500 annually
    • Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW, LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): $1,800 – $5,000 annually
    • Additional pay available for staff who exceed the average daily attendance of clients for the entire month

    Schedule: 10 hour shifts

    • Monday-Thursday 8am - 6:30pm. There is some flexibility

    Work Location: Rosecrance Champaign Walnut
