Job description

Event Marketing Manager, 3P & Partner Events

As a key member of the Databricks Marketing team, you will design and execute high-impact third-party and partner events that accelerate pipeline, deepen customer relationships, and elevate the Databricks brand. In this role, you will translate business goals into an integrated event strategy, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to deliver measurable outcomes. You will build repeatable programs and processes so our events scale efficiently as the business grows.

  • Business impact (pipeline & revenue):Deliver an event portfolio that consistently meets or exceeds pipeline and revenue targets, with clear attribution, reporting, and optimization plans for each program that informs go-forward investment decisions.
  • Audience growth & quality:Increase the volume and quality of target accounts and qualified leads across priority events, with a focus on high-intent engagement and conversion to pipeline.
  • Brand & experience effectiveness:Deliver high-impact event experiences that clearly communicate company positioning and drive measurable engagement (e.g., session attendance, booth traffic, meetings, and activations tied to target personas).
  • Integrated event strategy & execution:Transform priority events into fully integrated programs (booth, content, meetings and ancillary events) that present a unified narrative, improve lead quality and increase engagement across the event lifecycle.
  • Program optimization & insights:Continuously improve event performance by applying insights from year-over-year data, attendee feedback, competitive analysis, and conversion metrics to inform planning and investment decisions toward the highest-yield programs.
  • Sales & stakeholder alignment:Establish and scale a repeatable engagement model with Sales and cross-functional partners, resulting in strong pre-event planning, active in-event participation, and timely post-event follow-up, with measurable improvements in stakeholder satisfaction and pipeline conversion.
Qualifications
  • Proven event leadership experience owning end-to-end strategy and execution for complex, multi-stakeholder events that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong command of event performance metrics, including how to set goals, forecast, and report on pipeline, lead quality, conversion, and ROI for executive and practitioner audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders, translating business priorities into event strategies and securing alignment on objectives, target accounts, follow-up plans, and success criteria.
  • Experience optimizing budgets and resources, making data-informed tradeoffs while maintaining or elevating attendee experience.
  • Exceptional program management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events, navigate ambiguity, and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep customer and audience empathy, using insights from feedback, research, and data to continuously refine content, formats, and experiences to better serve target segments.
Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role are listed below and represent the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

Zone 1 Pay Range: $120,400 — $165,550 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range: $108,400 — $149,050 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range: $102,300 — $140,700 USD

Zone 4 Pay Range: $96,300 — $132,450 USD
