Job description

Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • • Design and optimize manufacturing processes for testing electro-optical components and assemblies.
  • • Perform testing of production parts using lasers as required.
  • • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • • Assemble and test opto-mechanical and electro-optic prototypes.
  • • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and procedures.
  • • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • • Provide technical support to production and NPI teams as needed.
  • • Manage production schedules and ensure on-time daily shipments when required.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a master's degree or higher.

Skills
  • • Experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with optical systems and components.
  • • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • • Familiarity with lasers, optical components, and related test equipment.
