Job description

Job Summary:
Cloudflare is a leading technology company focused on building a better Internet. The Solutions Engineering Manager, Commercial will manage cross-functional technical activities for customers in the SoCal region, leading a team of Solutions Engineers to collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to deliver value through Cloudflare's products.
Responsibilities:
• managing cross functional, full sales life cycle technical activities for Cloudflare customers
• managing a team of SEs that are geographically distributed in the SoCal region
• partnering with the West Sales team and Customer Success
• providing the value of Cloudflare products to customers and prospects
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of Solutions Engineers or similar roles.
• Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities.
• Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
• Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.
• Familiarity with Sales industry standards such as MEDDPICC, BANT, Sales cycles, POCs, Pre-Sales methodologies, etc.
