Centric Brands is focused on our customers and our brands that will drive the company's future growth. Centric Brands reflects a team built on respect, for others and for the hard work it takes to achieve our goals and build our bright future together.
    Specific Responsibilities Would Include
    Position Description:
The Senior Manager, IT Applications - Financial Planning Systems, serves as the primary IT leader for Centric Brands' Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) technology ecosystem. This individual partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Executive leadership to own the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation platforms.
The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of deep technical platform expertise in modern EPM/FP&A solutions (e.g., Oracle EPM Cloud, Anaplan, or OneStream) and a strong understanding of finance processes including planning cycles, financial consolidation, driver-based modeling, and management reporting. This role will be critical in driving the modernization of Centric Brands' financial planning capabilities and will report to the Sr. Director, Business Applications.
This role will follow a hybrid work schedule which requires on-site presence Monday-Thursday with Friday being a remote/work from home day. This schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
    Specific Responsibilities:
    Platform Strategy & Leadership
    • Serve as the IT application owner for all EPM/FP&A planning systems, owning the platform roadmap, governance model, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
    • Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of modern EPM/FP&A solutions (Oracle EPM Cloud, Anaplan, OneStream, or equivalent), from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare.
    • Partner with Finance and FP&A leadership to translate business planning requirements into scalable, well-architected technical solutions.
    • Manage vendor relationships with EPM platform providers, system integrators, and implementation partners.
    • Drive platform consolidation, rationalization, and migration strategies where applicable, including transitions from legacy tools such as SAP BPC.
    Implementation & Delivery
    • Own full project lifecycle delivery for EPM system implementations and enhancements - scope, budget, timeline, risk management, and quality.
    • Lead technical design sessions and solution architecture reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards and integration requirements.
    • Drive integrations between EPM/FP&A platforms and upstream/downstream systems including SAP ERP/S4HANA, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
    • Establish and enforce testing protocols (UAT, regression, performance) and change management processes for all platform releases.
    • Remove obstacles and proactively manage risks to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and with high quality.
    Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance and FP&A teams, bridging the gap between business process requirements and technology capabilities.
    • Facilitate requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, and design reviews with business stakeholders at all levels, including CFO and VP-level Finance leaders.
    • Set clear delivery expectations with business partners, proactively communicate status, and escalate issues with recommended solutions.
    • Champion finance process best practices and continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and management reporting workflows.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with IT peers across enterprise architecture, data, and infrastructure teams.
    Team & Operations
    • Build, lead, and mentor a team of application analysts and developers supporting EPM/FP&A platforms.
    • Serve as escalation point for production support issues, ensuring SLAs and business continuity for critical financial planning systems.
    • Develop and maintain application documentation, operational runbooks, and training materials.
    • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across supported platforms and processes.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on EPM/FP&A application leadership for mid-to-large enterprise organizations.
    • Proven, hands-on implementation experience with at least one modern EPM/FP&A platform - Oracle EPM Cloud (Planning, FCCS, EPBCS), Anaplan, or OneStream - in a full project lifecycle capacity.
    • Strong understanding of core finance and FP&A processes: annual operating planning, rolling forecasts, financial consolidation, management reporting, driver-based modeling, and scenario planning.
    • Experience integrating EPM platforms with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA), data warehouses, and BI/reporting tools.
    • SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) experience is a significant plus - both technical configuration and business process expertise.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams including business SMEs, technical developers, and third-party vendors.
    • Strong data modeling and financial modeling skills; understanding of multi-dimensional cube design, metadata management, and ETL/data integration concepts.
    • Experience with both waterfall and agile/iterative delivery methodologies.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present complex technical topics to executive and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
    • Experience in the retail, wholesale, or consumer goods industry is a plus.
    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business a plus.
    • EPM platform certifications (e.g., Oracle EPM, Anaplan Model Builder, OneStream) are highly desirable.
    Core Competencies & Skills
    • Strategic Thinking & Technology Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a multi-year EPM platform roadmap aligned to finance transformation goals.
    • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of FP&A and financial close processes; able to speak the language of Finance and act as a credible partner to the CFO organization.
    • Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with EPM platform configuration, data integration, and architecture; not solely a program manager.
    • Executive Communication: Proven ability to present to and influence senior business and IT stakeholders, including C-suite audiences.
    • Project & Program Management: Disciplined delivery approach with experience managing scope, budget, timeline, and risk across complex technology implementations.
    • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex finance data and system issues, synthesize findings, and recommend actionable solutions.
    • Change Management: Experience leading organizational change associated with system implementations and process redesign.
    • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Effective working relationships across Finance, IT, and external vendor/partner ecosystems.
    • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Track record of building and developing high-performing application teams.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactive mindset toward identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and platform optimization.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma).
In return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401(k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership. Our social impact program, Centric Cares, focuses on volunteerism to make a difference in communities we live and work in and our D&I committee is shaping the future of diversity, equity and inclusion at Centric Brands though workshops, resources and inspiring conversation.
