Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Traveling Transport Driver to safely transport equipment, materials, and supplies between job sites across various locations. This role requires frequent travel and flexibility to support project needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable spending extended time on the road while representing the company professionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
• Load and secure cargo properly to ensure safe transport
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Communicate with project managers and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment when needed
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Requirements
• Valid CDL (Class A preferred, depending on equipment transported)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to travel frequently and stay overnight as required
• Experience hauling equipment or construction materials preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transport safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with loading/unloading
