Manager ย night shift to accommodate US Buisness hrs


TopsBpo is seeking an experienced, intelligent individual who possesses exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills to manage Truckingย Safetyย Department.

Theย Safetyย Managerย will develop and implementย safetyย strategies to reduce accidents and ensure regulatoryย compliance. This includes maintaining accurateย complianceย records for driver qualification, controlled substance testing, hours of service, and other corporateย safetyย complianceย responsibilities. Theย Safetyย Manager will be responsible for continual development, implementation and systematic review of allย safetyย related programs, policies/procedures, and oversight mechanisms. this includes but is not limited to:

  • Reside as the expert in occupational health andย safety.
  • Ensure a consistentย safetyย culture throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the successful completion of all relatedย safetyย andย complianceย audits.
  • Utilizeย safetyย technology and associated data to identify and analyze trends, and develop appropriate strategies to reduce and preventย safetyย related accidents / incidents.
  • Design and implement effective metricks to track progress, proactively identify areas of concern and drive accountabililty.
  • Ensure allย safetyย training and orientation manuals, programs and procedures are current. Developย safetyย and training policies, procedures and programs as necessary.
  • Implement disciplinary action for allย safetyย related issues, including remedial training, suspension and termination.
  • Review and offer input and approval on driver applicants.
  • Manage the company's drug and alcohol testing program.

Required experience:

  • Safetyย management: 7 years
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years ofย Safetyย management experience in the transportation / trucking field
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge in occupational health,ย safety, training and transportation.
  • English is a mustย
