What is warehousing?

Warehousing refers to the process of storing goods, products, or materials in a warehouse before they are distributed, sold, or used. Warehousing involves the management of inventory, organization of storage space, and handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. It plays a crucial role in supply chain management by ensuring that products are safely stored and readily available when needed. Warehousing operations can include tasks such as receiving goods, packing, picking, and shipping.
