Job Title: Cyber Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Journeyman Cyber Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Lead and contribute to teams that tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems spanning cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, lead projects, and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills. Responsibilities: As a Journeyman Cyber Engineer, you'll contribute to teams that work hands-on with state-of-the-art electronics. You'll design, develop, and implement innovative techniques in support of the team's work on new technologies, and mentor junior engineers to do the same. Qualifications: Required: * Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI. * BS in a related discipline and 5-7 years of directly related experience
* Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers
* Strong knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems
* Proficiency in a coding/programming languages such as Python, Java, or C
* Experience performing a variety of tasks using command line interfaces such as the Linux terminal
* In-depth understanding of networking topics such as IP addressing and subnetting as well as common protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, etc.) and technologies (ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.)
* Familiarity with the programmatic use of APIs
* Experience working with containers at a technical level
* Experience leveraging interfaces and protocols such as I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, USB, and Ethernet Desired: * Experience with penetration testing or threat hunting
* Experience with digital forensics tools such as (FTK, Autopsy, EnCase)
* Experience with binary analysis tools and techniques such as Ghidra
* Familiarity with Android OS and mobile device debugging techniques
* Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters
* Experience with SDRs (HackRF, Ettus, etc.) and GNURadio
* Experience soldering electronics and circuits
* Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion360
* Familiarity with electrical circuits and circuit design

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
