Job description

Instructional Designer

C² Technologies seeks an Instructional Designer to collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and create appropriate training solutions in various formats. The position performs a key function in developing high-quality training products that meet the needs of C² Technologies and its clients. This is an onsite or hybrid position.

Summary:
The Instructional Designer will design and create training solutions for both classroom and digital formats. This position works with stakeholders to ensure that training solutions align with performance objectives and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and develop training objectives.

  • Design and create training solutions in multiple formats (eLearning, ILT, WBT).

  • Review and improve training materials to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop content.

  • Use rapid authoring tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • BS/BA in instructional design, educational technology, or related field.

  • 3 years of instructional design experience.

  • Experience designing training solutions for both classroom-based and web-based delivery.

  • Proficiency in using instructional design tools and technology.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with SCORM and learning management systems.

  • Experience in the development of blended learning solutions.

  • Knowledge of responsive web design and Section 508 accessibility.

Tools amp; Software:

  • Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Knowledge amp; Skills:

  • Ability to design and develop instructional materials for various learning environments.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
