Job description

Brandt est actuellement à la recherche d’un Directeur des ventes, Foresterie pour le Québec et les régions de l’Atlantique. Le titulaire du poste est responsable d’augmenter la part de marché en termes de ventes d’équipement forestier tout en offrant une orientation relative à l’évaluation de l’équipement usagé retourné en stock.

Fonctions et responsabilités

  • Atteindre les objectifs de parts de marché convenus pour le succès à long terme de notre fabricant et de l’entreprise.
  • Atteindre les objectifs de gestion des actifs en termes de rotation et de vieillissement, ainsi que de protection des actifs de l’entreprise, y compris le stock marchandise neuve et usagée.
  • Fournir des informations sur les codes de construction pour les produits en stock.
  • Fournir une rétroaction et des prévisions détaillées relativement aux niveaux de stock pour atteindre les objectifs de ventes et de part de marché.
  • Fournir de la rétroaction et des renseignements sur les occasions et les pressions concurrentielles futures.
  • Comprendre pleinement, faire la promotion et vendre les solutions télématiques et de surveillance des machines qui sont des différenciateurs offerts par Brandt et John Deere
  • Aider dans l’établissement et l’évaluation de devis, offres et prix concurrentiels pour augmenter l’information commerciale, les parts et les marges dans tous les domaines de responsabilité.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des programmes de ventes et de marketing efficaces dans le secteur de la foresterie.
  • Se déplacer et interagir régulièrement avec les clients ainsi que les GT de Brandt sur les chantiers, offrir du mentorat et des conseils sur les stratégies de vente, les caractéristiques de produit et les tactiques visant à surmonter les défis.
  • Aider au perfectionnement de tous les employés de la ZDR dans le but de constituer une équipe renseignée, motivée et performante axée sur la réussite à long terme de l’entreprise et des clients.
  • Gérer les tâches, les affectations et les dépenses des gestionnaires aux produits d’entreprise du domaine de responsabilité.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de vente des succursales pour établir des relations avec les clients de cours de scierie, élaborer des stratégies de vente multiniveaux, des organigrammes de clients et comprendre les occasions et les défis uniques du marché.
  • Donner de la rétroaction aux produits d’ingénierie de Brandt pour aider dans l’invention et le développement d’accessoires et de produits dans le but d’augmenter les occasions de Brandt dans ce segment commercial.
  • Participer aux initiatives des GOC et des concessionnaires de Brandt/Deere.
  • Maîtriser l’anglais et le français.
  • Réaliser d’autres projets, selon les besoins.

      Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales – Forestry for the Quebec and Atlantic region. This position is responsible for increasing share of market of new forestry equipment sales while providing guidance on the valuations of used equipment coming into inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve market share goals as agreed to for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and minimize aging, as well as protection of company assets, including new and used whole goods inventory
  • Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products
  • Provide detailed feedback and forecasts for inventory levels to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Fully understand, promote, and sell the Telematic and Machine monitoring capabilities that are differentiators delivered by Brandt and John Deere
  • Assist and evaluate competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to drive market intelligence, increase share and margins across the area of responsibility
  • Develop & execute effective sales and marketing forestry programs
  • Travel and interact with customer and Brandt TM’s on jobsites regularly – providing mentorship and guidance on sales strategy, product FAB’s, and tactics to address challenges
  • Assist in development of all employees within the AOR with the goal of building a knowledgeable, motivated and successful team focused on long-term success for the company and customer
  • Manage duties, assignments, and expenses of Corporate Product Managers assigned to the area of responsibility
  • Work in conjunction with branch sales teams to build relationships with mill yard customers, develop multi-level sales strategy, customer organization charts and understand unique market challenges/opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Brandt Engineered Products to assist in the invention and development of attachments & products to increase Brandt’s opportunities in the business segment
  • Participate in Brandt/Deere DAG/CAG initiatives as required
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Other projects as assigned
