Job description

Company
Braintrust is a global talent network that connects top independent professionals with leading companies for high-quality, flexible work. We help organizations hire skilled talent faster while giving professionals access to vetted opportunities with innovative teams. Job description

Our client is seeking United States-based personal finance professionals for an AI training project involving real-world financial topics and scenarios. This opportunity is intended for people whose professional work directly supports individuals or households, rather than candidates whose experience is limited to corporate finance.

Relevant Backgrounds

You may be a fit if your experience includes one or more of the following:

  • Preparing individual tax returns, personal tax planning, capital-gains matters, or self-employment and quarterly taxes.
  • Advising individuals on investments, asset allocation, portfolio rebalancing, retirement accounts, or Social Security planning.
  • Helping households with comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, debt, or financial goals.
  • Supporting estate and gift tax, trust administration, beneficiary planning, or fiduciary accounting in a non-attorney capacity.
  • Advising on student loans, mortgage refinancing, credit-card payoff, home affordability, or college and 529 planning.
  • Supporting clients with equity compensation, including RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, or self-employed finances.

Relevant titles may include CPA, Enrolled Agent, personal tax preparer, financial advisor, wealth advisor, retirement planner, financial planner, trust officer, or fiduciary accountant. CFP, PFS, CPA, EA, and CTFA credentials are strong signals but are not required for every qualified background.

Requirements

  • Currently based in the United States.
  • At least 2 years of directly relevant professional experience.
  • Professional experience advising or supporting individuals or households in at least one of the areas above.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment, explain financial concepts clearly, and follow detailed project instructions.

Compensation

Compensation is $50 USD per hour.
