REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Sales/Marketing experience in the construction machinery industry with a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, applications, and markets
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing programs
- Good mathematical skills
- Must reside in territory
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create, develop, and close new/used sales and rental deals within assigned territory and achieve sales volume, profit, and market share objectives
- Cover assigned territory by achieving established call standards
- Improve Boyd Company's market coverage by prospecting for and developing new customers
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through professional and ethical business conduct
- Develop and maintain knowledge on products, applications, industry, selling skills, and product support to enhance and achieve required sales performance
- Communicate technical information, product problems, competitive information, product support requirements, credit information, customer concerns, etc, to the proper departments and assure appropriate action is implemented
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
