Job description

Adelphi is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide behavioral support services to students at schools in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidates will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a qualified behavior analyst to improve students’ communication, social, academic, and functional skills.

Requirements:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician credential issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or developmental needs
• Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA or other authorized professional
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct one-to-one or small-group behavioral support.
• Collect and accurately record data on student behavior, progress, and program implementation.
• Use reinforcement, prompting, redirection, and other approved behavioral strategies.
• Assist students with communication, social, academic-readiness, and daily-living skills.
• Follow approved safety, crisis-prevention, and de-escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational team members under appropriate supervision.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and FERPA-compliant service documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
