    We're Hiring: Program Manager
    Location: Brick, NJ
    Department: BNR - Adult Residential
    Salary Range: $58,323.20-$59,508.80/year

    Position Summary:
    Manages the overall operations, activities, and staff of assigned program site within direct area of responsibility.
    Responsibilities
    Essential Responsibilities
    • Supervise and lead staff within assigned areas, providing oversight, guidance, performance feedback, and support across all applicable shifts.
    • Manage day-to-day program operations, ensuring a safe, effective, compliant, and respectful environment for all individuals served.
    • Support hiring and staffing processes, including interviewing, screening, onboarding recommendations, performance management, and termination recommendations in partnership with Human Resources and program leadership.
    • Address complex or sensitive situations, using sound judgment, crisis intervention techniques, and person-centered approaches while promoting individual independence.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records, including daily, monthly, and quarterly reports, billing and attendance records, risk management documentation, progress notes, medical/behavioral records, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Review staff documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, ensuring compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
    • Coordinate person-centered planning, including IPP, IDT, TDT, and treatment planning processes, and ensure timely implementation of individualized care plans.
    • Coordinate medical and therapeutic recommendations, ensuring care plans and medical orders are appropriately implemented in collaboration with nursing and clinical teams.
    • Monitor quality and performance improvement initiatives to promote efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality program operations.
    • Collaborate effectively with individuals served, families, guardians, healthcare professionals, coworkers, leadership, and external agencies, maintaining clear and professional communication.
    • Advocate for individuals served, protecting their rights, dignity, privacy, preferences, and overall well-being.
    • Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance, including appropriate supervision levels, emergency procedures, crisis protocols, and prevention/reporting of abuse, neglect, exploitation, threats, bullying, or other violations.
    • Oversee assigned program vehicles, including appropriate usage, cleanliness, maintenance, and required documentation.
    • Provide direct care and support to individuals served as needed based on program needs.
    • Participate in special projects, behavioral and clinical initiatives, research activities, inspections, investigations, and other organizational priorities as assigned.
    • Maintain required certifications and training and comply with all applicable licensing, regulatory, accreditation, ethical, and organizational standards.
    • Demonstrate professionalism and organizational values, serving as a positive role model and promoting respect, integrity, confidentiality, fairness, and dignity in all interactions.
    • Remain flexible and adaptable, adjusting schedules, assignments, and responsibilities to meet the needs of the program and individuals served.

    Qualifications
    Education & Experience:
    An incumbent in this position who has graduated from an accredited college with a BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology AND possesses at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
    High School diploma or equivalent required with two-three years in the Human Services or related field. Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals. BA in a related field plus one year of related experience preferred.
    Brain Injury/BIS Day Treatment Program Managers are required to achieve certification from the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS) within the first 18 months of employment, and maintain ongoing annual certification requirements.
