    Lab Instructor, Radiology Education Trainer 3422683
    • Hourly pay: $70/hr
    • Worksite: Leading medical institution (San Francisco, CA 94158 - Onsite)
    • W2 Employment
    • 20-25 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

    A leading medical institution is seeking a Lab Instructor, Radiology Education Trainerto provide hands-on laboratory instruction within an 18-month radiography education program.
    Lab Instructor, Radiology Education TrainerResponsibilities:
    • Deliver hands-on laboratory instruction in Introduction to Patient Care and/or Introduction to Radiography.
    • Demonstrate and supervise energized and non-energized laboratory practice, including positioning, equipment operation, image production, and patient-care techniques.
    • Reinforce radiation safety, patient safety, infection control, and safe patient-handling practices.
    • Evaluate student skill acquisition using objective and documented criteria while providing constructive feedback.
    • Maintain a safe, organized, equitable laboratory environment and ensure instruction follows applicable JRCERT requirements.

    Lab Instructor, Radiology Education Trainer Qualifications:
    • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
    • Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R(R)).
    • Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license.
    • Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
    • Applied clinical knowledge of radiographic positioning, equipment operation, image production, and patient-care skills.
    • Knowledge of radiation and patient safety principles, including ALARA, shielding, collimation, infection control, and safe patient handling.
    • Familiarity with JRCERT Standards applicable to laboratory instruction, including student-to-equipment ratios and direct-supervision requirements.
    • Experience demonstrating psychomotor techniques and evaluating student skills is preferred.
    • Previous experience in radiography education, laboratory instruction, or clinical training is preferred.
    • Ability to align laboratory activities with didactic content and program learning outcomes.
    • Proficiency with standard office software and learning-management or clinical-tracking platforms is preferred.

    Shift:
    • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
