Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek a Computer Systems Analyst to serve as part of ACI's Government Programs Team, which supports CPE ISW for IEW&S HQs SETA.
Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role the Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for conducting business analysis as it relates to software, processes or design for project planning requirements analysis, software testing, or end-user training activities for business applications and makes recommendations for the most effective methods to meet the needs of the organization. A successful ACI Computer Systems Analyst will perform the following functions:
  • Analyze organizational needs related to software, processes or controls, and provide analytical advice, direction, and recommendations to IT senior management for application and technology that impacts operations.
  • Establish specifications and objectives based on business requirements and cost effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications of basic IT systems that takes into account changes in business requirements or equipment configurations that would improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs.
  • Coordinate activities of cross-functional teams to achieve various aspects of IT projects, including work plans, system design and/or testing of existing systems.
  • Provide input throughout projects on feasibility, design, testing, process flow, and/or controls.
  • Work with the business to provide data, systems and technology for effective and efficient use of business applications, processes or controls to ensure successful integration of all projects, enhancements, maintenance and problem resolution.
  • Follow established policies and procedures; determine and recommend potential enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Associate's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience or,
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of experience or,
  • Master's degree in a related field and no experience. 
  • Certifications and professional credentials may be required for this position.
  • Advanced business analysis skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in requirements gathering, configuration and testing.
  • Some knowledge of project lifecycle.
  • In-depth knowledge of the specific applications supported.
  • Strong IT background and experience in application(s) issues resolution.
  • Experience maintaining a containerized environment.
  • Experience with system engineering other environments.
  • Experience operating under and managing systems within DCSA, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments.
  • VMWare experience/certification; experience with vCenter, ESXi environments v6.5+
  • Experience with VDI deployments (Horizon, Hyper-V)
  • Mastery of Windows domain architecture, to include AD, LDAP, RADIUS, and certificate authorities.
  • Knowledge of SAN storage systems (NetApp OnTap, E-Series, and other vendor solutions).
  • Experience with various backup solutions (Cohesity, PPDM)
