Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will perform structural engineering assignments associated with designing equipment, components, structures or systems on LNG projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Reviews and provides direction for the development of structural designs, facility layouts, 3d models, project datasheets and project specifications.
  • Ability to keep multiple internal and external team(s) / contractor(s) on task.
  • Ensures that design document reviews are completed accurately and within the required timeframe. Inclusive of checking activities.
  • Continuous monitoring of the Contractor's performance and compliance project technical requirements.
  • Participate in key design review and ensure design review readiness.
  • Monitors changes against baseline scope.
  • Coordinating answers to technical and commercial queries from client and contractors.
  • Responsible for maintaining technical integrity of the engineering and design for the facility.
  • Ability to complete project tasks independently.
  • Ability to identify technical and commercial issue(s) and is able to solve the issue(s) independently or in a team to maintain schedule, budget and quality.
  • Reviews or creates meeting minutes from project meetings.
  • Responsible for input to project reporting.
  • Promotes values and ideals of company.
  • Ability to facilitate internal and external project meetings.
  • Demonstrates exemplary communication and organizational skills.
  • Coordinates MOC efforts.
  • Develops /adjusts project support team level work flow processes.
  • Facilitates multi-disciplinary communication.
  • Resolves audit deficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
  • P.E. preferred.
  • PMP preferred.
  • 5-15 years of experience.
  • Experience with engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSY, RISA, RAM Connection, Mat3D and foundation 3D.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD.
  • Concrete experience preferred.
  • LNG project experience preferred.
