    Job description

    Seeking experienced Structural & Pipe Welders for a growing steel manufacturing facility in the Arlington
    • Structural Welders: $21-$22/hr
    • Pipe Welders: $24-$25/hr
      Schedule: Monday-Friday, 50-60 hrs/week (OT required)
      Occasional Saturdays (3-4 times/year)

    Job Description
    We are seeking highly skilled Pipe and Structural Welders proficient in MIG, TIG, Fluxcore, or Stick welding.
    Candidates must be able to pass a 6G pipe test and Destructive/Non-Destructive testing.
    Essential Skills & Responsibilities
    • Weld pipe and structural steel (1" to 48") to ASME, API, and 100% X-Ray code standards
    • Perform welds in various positions on code materials
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, including layout and fit-up
    • Cut and prep materials using flame/plasma torches, saws, grinders, and measuring tools
    • Operate shop equipment:
      • Iron worker
      • Overhead crane
      • Rigging gear
      • Pipe threading machine
      • Tube bending machine
      • Pneumatic hand tools
    • Assemble and fabricate components with minimal supervision
    • Promote a safety-first, productive work environment
    • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to improve processes

    Requirements
    • Must pass 6G Pipe Welding Test
    • Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience or completion of welding school
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Certified to weld on pipe or plate
    • Own welding hood and steel toe boots required (not provided)
    • Comfortable working in hot environments (fans only - no A/C)
    • Must be willing to work mandatory overtime (50-60 hours/week)

    Physical Demands
    • Frequently bend, squat, climb, stoop, twist, and reach
    • Lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally
